Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Thimpu from Phuentsholing
- Arrive at Phuentsholing by 9 A.M. The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India.
- After complete the immigration formalities transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan.
- On arrival check-in to the hotel.
- Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 2: Thimpu sightseeing
- After breakfast first visit The Great Buddha Dordenma statue at Kuenselphodrang
- Visit National Memorial Chorten (Buddhist monuments) and Folk Heritage Museum.
- Afternoon visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, Takin Preserve Centre.
- In the evening visit Tashichho Dong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion).
- Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimpu-Paro sightseeing
- After breakfast first visit The Great Buddha Dordenma statue at Kuenselphodrang
- Visit National Memorial Chorten (Buddhist monuments) and Folk Heritage Museum.
- Afternoon visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, Takin Preserve Centre.
- In the evening visit Tashichho Dong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion).
- Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 4: Paro sightseeing
- After breakfast hike for 2 hours to the famous Taktsang Monastery, commonly called the “Tiger’s Nest”
- Later visit Drukgyel Dzong and Kyichu Monastery. Overnight stay at Paro
Day 5: Paro to Phuentsholing
- After breakfast check out from the hotel and take the departure transfer to Phuentsholing for your onward journey.
